I know sooo many people who give themselves that label because they're staunch Democrats and associate the Democratic party with Liberals, then they go on to cheer for big government. This is why I hate politics - so few people know a damn thing about what they're saying hahaha. Anyway, it might a bit hypocritical for a Libertarian to be a Fed, but if you do it for a few years you can take that experience and go into the private sector.
