But too (sometimes) avoid it, I normally just keep my nails painted and it makes me reluctant to want to ruin it. Other than that my only other suggestions involve taping oven gloves to your hands. I have gotten really short, acrylic french manicures or neutral colors before and it's nice because it doesn't look crazy AND your nails look nice AND I think it's all of $40 for you not to feel self conscious.
